A golf fan can work up quite an appetite watching the action on the greens at Honda Classic, the challenging first stop on the PGA Tour’s Florida swing. And the PGA National Resort and Spa, home of the Classic, is not a bad place for a hungry fan.
Not only does the resort offer a solid trio of dining and sipping options, it sits at the western edge of an entire boulevard of eating and drinking possibilities.
Here are some of our favorite restaurants along PGA Boulevard:

The Gardens Mall:

Yes, there’s a food court and a couple of Starbucks at this upmarket mall, but the dining options don’t end there. Eateries include Figs by Todd English (inside Macy’s), The Bistro at Nordstrom and PF Chang’s China Bistro.

Our picks: the buzzy Brio Tuscan Grille for Italian bites and wines, and The Counter Custom Built Burgers for design-your-own burgers, shoestring fries and grown-up shakes (entrance between Bloomingdale’s and Sears).
